Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet exchange device that minimizes a time used for palette exchange to enhance efficiency of conveyance work.SOLUTION: A pallet movement mechanism: makes a pallet be in a movable state; performs conveyance of an article by a robot after moving the article to a conveyable state; determines a delivery point for the conveyance in advance; and continuously conveys the article that comes running on a conveyer. The delivery point is set to a moving direction of the pallet by one row in a horizontal direction so as to be able to convey one by one in a row of the article to the pallet, and the next row is set to become the delivery point by moving the pallet, after completing a given number of the conveyances. When conveyance work of the article is nearly completed, a holding state with respect to the pallet is released to make the pallet be in the movable state by performing holding to the next pallet, and the pallet is exchanged by pushing out the pallet after conveying the article by the pallet before conveying the article, when the conveyance work is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
