PURPOSE: To provide an emergency light for earthquake, which is automatically lighted and which alarms so as to product and save the life when there is a large earthquake, by providing a spring and a contact, which are coupled with a movable piece, in the bottom part, and forming the emergency light so as to light and alarm at the same time when it is inclined and fallen.

CONSTITUTION: In the case where a large earthquake is generated, a flashlight is oscillated by the initial vibration, and a movable piece 2 and a plate spring 4 are vertically moved, and a contact is opened and closed so as to intermittently light and generated the alarm sound. In the case where the vibration is strengthened, the flashlight is fallen, and the contact 5 is closed so as to close all circuits, and the flashlight is continuously lighted and the alarm sound is continuously generated. When a person notifies the earthquake, the flashlight is already lighted, and it is very convenient. Even in the case where a house is broken and fallen, and a person is caught inside of the broken house, the rescue work can be quickly performed since the alarm sound is continuously generated so as to inform the position. In the case where a flashlight is fallen by a mischief by children or the like, since the alarm is generated, waste consumption of a battery can be prevented. In the case where this flashlight is provided at a high place such as a pillar, a suspension rope 11 is provided so as to prevent a fall.
