PURPOSE: To improve the long-term stability of an enzyme in a dry-bleaching compsn. without detriment to the solubility by including a specific oxidative bleaching agent with enzyme particles prepd. by coating hydrase enzyme cores with a water-soluble alkali metal silicate coating contg. a protective agent.
CONSTITUTION: Enzyme particles are prepd. by completely coating hydrase enzyme cores comprising at least one enzyme selected from among protease, lipase, amylase, and cellulose with a water-soluble alkali metal silicate coating which contains at least one protective agent comprising a transition metal selected from among Cu, Ni, Fe, and Co and/or a reducing agent and if necessary an alkali metal salt. The enzyme particles and at least one oxidative bleaching agent selected from among alkali metal perborates, alkali metal percarbonates, and hydrogen peroxide adducts are compounded to give a dry- bleaching compsn.
