To provide a system and method for adjusting energy demand and supply balance, capable of adjusting the demand and supply balance of power and heat as the whole system in an optimum manner even if consumers' life-style is changed, and a control device and a computer program therefor.
This system comprises one or more first energy generation devices having power generation efficiency higher than heat generation efficiency, and one or more second energy generation devices having heat generation efficiency higher than heat generation efficiency. A demand of power and a demand of heat are accepted, a heat quantity in generation of the accepted demand of power by the one or more first energy generation device is estimated, a total insufficient heat quantity is calculated based on the accepted demand of heat and the estimated heat quantity, an operation time of the one or more second energy generation devices is calculated based on the calculated total insufficient heat quantity, and the calculated operation time is transmitted to the one or more second energy generation devices.
