To provide an entry-exit control system enhanced in security in a control area by suppressing the act of an unregistered person who takes on the position of a registered person and attempts to enter or exit the control area.

A host device 10 acquires the face image of a person to be authenticated by calling a mobile phone 9 with a TV phone function of the person to be authenticated who desires to enter or exit the control area 2, and performs a face authentication treatment for determining whether the person to be authenticated is registered or not by using the acquired face image. When the host device 10 determines that the person to be authenticated is registered by this face authentication treatment, it temporarily unlocks an electronic lock 7 attached to a door 6 for the control area 2. When the host device determines that the person to be authenticated is not registered, it encloses the person to be authenticated in an area 1 or in the control area 2.
