Title:
EQUAL MAGNIFICATION TYPE PHOTOSENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS571930
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the lighting efficiency and miniaturize the apparatus, by providing photodiodes as light-detecting elements and an electroluminescence as a lighting source on the same transparent board.

CONSTITUTION: An electroluminescence (EL)3 is rectilinearly provided on the lower surface of a transparent board 1, facing a light-detecting part 2. Light- detecting signals are drawn out from metal electrodes 4 and 5. The light emitted from the EL3 passes throuth the transparent board 1 and irradiates the surface of an original 6 through each gap t between photodiodes 7 and 7 adjacent to each other. The light reflected therefrom is directly incident on the light-receiving surfaces of the respective photodiodes 7. The lighting for the manuscript 6 can be performed efficiently and with a sufficient quantity of light by the EL3 located adjacently thereto. In addition, the light detection is performed by directly the light reflected from the manuscript 6.
