To provide an ink-tube connecting equipment which can provide reduced size of the tube joint member in an ink-tube connecting equipment, effective utilization of space on a carriage, firm fixing of the connecting ends of the ink tube, excellent air-tightness and fluid-tightness of the part concerned to prevent a gas and liquid from incoming from outside and flowing out to outside and easily-reduced size of a recorder, and the recorder equipped with the ink-tube connecting equipment.
The ink-tube connecting equipment is composed of the tube joint member 36 which is equipped with a tube retaining part 34 that accepts a connecting end 33 of the ink tube 5 and holds it and an ink vertical introduction part 35 for leading the ink supplied from the ink tube 5 held toward a recording head 13 in the downward. The tube joint member 36 is formed to be a nearly L-shaped plane which is arranged such that the tube retaining part 34 is positioned against the ink vertical introduction part 35 nearly at a right angle. The ink tube 5 and the tube joint member 36 are integrated by two-colors molding.
