Abstract:
To provide a novel utilization field of essence extracted from a jasmine flower obtained from a jasmine flower, particularly a flower of Jasminum sambac.
A composition for inhibiting increase of a blood lipid level comprising as an essential ingredient an extract of a jasmine flower, particularly a flower of Jasminum sambac, is provided. Oral administration of the extract from the jasmine flower, particularly the extract from the flower of Jasminum sambac, in succession to ingestion of lipid, inhibits increase of a blood serum triglyceride level.
