Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operability of the curvature operating device having a cruciform pad for operating a curvature of a curved part provided in an inserting part of the endscope.
CONSTITUTION: The device is constituted so that in a cruciform pad 32 provided in a curvature operating switch 19 being a curvature operating device, this pad is constituted so that a shape of the finger putting face 41 of this cruciform pad 32, and a shape of a contact part of a finger for pushing this cruciform pad 32 coincide roughly with each other, that is, a radius of curvature of the finger putting face 41 becomes large in the axial direction of the finger, and small in the diameter direction of the finger, a fit sense at the time when the finger is put on the pad 32 is improved, and also, the curvature operating switch 19 can be depressed without moving forcibly the finger.
