To improve the flexibility of plate glass to a building frame, and to enhance aseismicity by slidably hanging the upper end of a hanging member from the building frame and slidably connecting a holding member at the lower end of the hanging member.
The upper edge section of plate glass G is held by a holding member 4, the holding member 4 and a hanging member 3 are coupled, and the hanging member 3 is hung to a building frame 5. The holding member 4 and the hanging member 3 are connected slidably by using a forked connecting section 7 and a spherical bearing 9 in the execution body of the plate glass G. The hanging member 3 is hung slidably from the building frame 5 by using a spherical ring 21a and a ball washer 23a. Accordingly, since the plate glass G is suspended under a movable state to the building frame 5 and the central point of operation in the longitudinal and horizontal directions is placed at two places at both upper and lower ends of the hanging member 3, the flexibility of the plate glass G to the building frame 5 is improved extremely.
