Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of reducing a situation that NOx is not completely purified in a NOx selective reduction type catalyst caused by discharge of NOx in NOx occlusion reduction type catalysts.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device includes an exhaust pipe in which an exhaust gas generated in an internal combustion engine flows, a NOx selective reduction-type catalyst disposed in the exhaust pipe for purifying nitrogen oxygen in the exhaust gas, a plurality of NOx occlusion reduction-type catalysts disposed at an upstream side in the exhaust pipe with respect to the NOx selective reduction type catalyst in an exhausting direction of exhaust gas flow, and occluding nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas, a cooling portion for cooling one or more downstream NOx occlusion reduction-type catalyst excluding the NOx occlusion reduction-type catalyst positioned at a most upstream side in the exhaust direction among the plurality of NOx occlusion reduction-type catalysts by cooling an outer periphery of the exhaust pipe, and a control portion for controlling the cooling portion so that the downstream NOx occlusion reduction type catalysts are cooled according to a temperature in the exhaust pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
