Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification system and its control method capable of surely grasping completion of thawing of urea water frozen in an urea water tank.SOLUTION: A built-in temperature sensor 21 is disposed in an urea concentration sensor 20 disposed around a suction port 11 of a supply pipe 6 positioned in an urea water tank 8, and a distance between the suction port 11 and the urea concentration sensor 20 is longer than a distance between the suction port 11 and a tank temperature sensor 19. An ECU 23 operates notification means 22 when smaller one of a measured value of the tank temperature sensor 19 and a measured value of the built-in temperature sensor 21 is over a predetermined first threshold value, after starting thawing means 15 for the urea water 7 frozen in the urea water tank 8.
