Abstract:
To provide an exhaust heater which guarantees stable integration of a support body unit and a heating conductor unit regardless of a temperature.SOLUTION: An exhaust heater, of an exhaust device of an internal combustion engine, comprises a support body unit 24 and a heating conductor unit 18 which is supported by the support body unit and has at least one energized heating conductor 14 and 16. The at least one heating conductor is supported through at least one support body unit support unit 38 and 40 so that the same is electrically insulated from the support body unit and/or the at least one heating conductor 14 is supported through the at least one heating conductor support unit 42 so that the same is electrically insulated from another heating conductor 16. The exhaust heater also has an integration unit 31 which firmly integrates the heating conductor unit and the support body unit 24 and a length compensation unit 44 which compensates differences in thermal expansion of respective exhaust heater components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
