To provide a connection structure of an exhaust gas pipe capable of alleviating stress regardless of a direction of inflation and contraction and the presence/absence of the oxidization of the surface of a pipe.SOLUTION: A connection structure 1 of an exhaust gas pipe includes: an outer pipe 3 in which exhaust gas flowing; an inner pipe 5 including a pipe-shaped insertion part 9 to be inserted coaxially into an end part of the outer pipe 3 to face an inner periphery 15 of the outer pipe 3 and being movable in the axial direction of the outer pipe 3 to allow the exhaust gas to flow; and a bellows pipe 7 being a bellows-like pipe body, which is provided around outer peripheries of the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 3, connected to the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 3, covering a gap G of a connection part between the insertion part 9 and the outer pipe 3 to seal the exhaust gas, and extendable and contractable in an axial direction when inflated and contracted by heat of the exhaust gas. With opposing surfaces of an outer periphery 13 of the insertion part 9 and the inner periphery 15 of the inner pipe 3 being separated from each other, the connection structure 1 of the exhaust gas pipe is provided with a bulge 11 disposed on one of the opposing surfaces to inflate toward the opposing surface of the other of the opposing surfaces to slide on the other of the opposing surfaces when the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 3 inflate and contract each other with the opposing surfaces thereof being loosely fitted to each other, so as to allow the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 3 to move relatively to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
