PURPOSE: To provide an extensible continuous conveyor capable of carrying out conveyance work of a belt conveyor smoothly, significantly lessening replacement of rear steps due to extension of conveyance length, dispensing with a strong frame in the middle of the conveyor, improving workability and saving cost.
CONSTITUTION: On the extension side end part of a belt conveyor, intermediate drive conveyor devices 4A, 4B spiced in parallel with the belt conveyor 3 and supporting a tensile force of the same conveyor belt 3 in the middle of a belt stock drum A or a belt stock box arranged free to move in the extension direction of the belt conveyor and a reel drum B arranged on the end part of the belt conveyor in the conveyance direction and taking up the conveyor belt 3 are arranged.
