PURPOSE: To prevent missing in facsimile communication data due to a power failure by providing a means selecting the mode making immediate printout in the case of reception in the transfer mode and the mode making printout at a transfer request.

CONSTITUTION: After facsimile communication received in the transfer mode is stored in a reception memory section 4, a control section 2 checks the set print mode, and the reception data is read from a reception memory section 4, fed to a read/print mechanism section 5, where the signal is printed out when the mode making immediate printout is set. When the mode making printout on a transfer request is set, the reception data from the reception memory section 4 is sent to a transfer destination via a facsimile transmission section 6 and the communication control section 1 when a transfer request notice is informed from the communication control section 1. Since the reached facsimile communication is printed out at a required time in this way, even when the facsimile equipment is subject to power failure, missing of data in the received facsimile communication is prevented.
