Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber reinforced plastic wire which generates no steam even when it is heated by employing aromatic polyamide, and employing a composition mixed with the predetermined amount of a hydrotalcite baked product as a resin mixture. CONSTITUTION:A fiber reinforced plastic wire (FRP wire) is composed of aromatic polyamide fiber and a mixture of 100wt.pts. of thermosetting resin and 100 or less wt.pts. of hydrotalcite baked product. For this aromatic polyamide fiber, a fiber which is obtained by wet-spinning the polyparaphenylene terephthalic amide obtained through condensation-polymerization of p-phenylene diamine and therephthaloil chrolide is used. The thermosetting resin contained in the resin composition part is epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin or the like, and unsaturated polyester resin or vinyl ester resin which is capable of thermosetting by organic peroxide is used.
