Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten coiling time for a field coil, by a method wherein straight angle conductive material is cut off to a required length, then it is coiled from both ends simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Straight angle conductive material 4 is successively cut off to the length required for coiling two ball pieces. Next, the cut conductive material 4 is folded back with force added in the same direction at the center where a rod 5 is placed in contact with the material 4. After that, both ends of the folded material 4 is coiled in the P direction simultaneously by a coiling device. In this coiling process, the rod 5 is provided with force continuously in the Q direction so that it can provide constant tension to the material 4. As the coiling process advances, the rod 5 is moved in the R direction gradually. With this method, the time having required for coiling of the field coil is reduced to a half.
