Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print output method for outputting file data which are being edited by application software on a personal computer to an image forming device capable of easily and surely selecting an image forming device.
SOLUTION: When an image forming device is provided with an option function, a first printer icon 201 displayed on the task bar of a monitor screen and a second printer icon 202 pulled down from the first printer icon 201 are installed in a personal computer. The second printer icon 202 is configured of a plurality of parts 202A to 202H according to the option function of the image forming device, and any part is instructed by a pointer to output file data which are being edited at present and function destination corresponding to the instructed part to the image forming device.
