Abstract:
To provide a film tensioning element for performing dental treatment in a patient's oral cavity.SOLUTION: A film tensioning element 10 comprises a vestibular ring 16 and a lip ring 14 between which and optionally beyond which a film 12 extends, in particular substantially in a ring shape or hose shape, the film being held tensioned by those rings, where the film and the rings are resiliently deformable. The film 12 has radially inwardly extending necking 18 at least in a region in a track between the lip ring 14 and vestibular ring 16, and is formed at least in the region without pressure and in a single piece between an inner face and an outer face of the film, in particular without attachments and/or inserts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
