Abstract:
To provide an uncrosslinked fine sphere useful for producing a contrast agent comprising a fine sphere containing a gas of sulfur hexafluoride or a low molecular weight fluorinated hydrocarbon encapsulated in a protein shell, the protein being crosslinked by using a crosslinking group having a biodegradable bond and which is used in diagnostic ultrasound examination.
The fine sphere comprising sulfur hexafluoride or the low molecular weight fluorinated hydrocarbon encapsulated in the protein shell is produced.
