The finish machining device of the work performs the finish machining by removing the undesired substance stuck to the work 1 molded through casting. The device is provided with a transfer device 2 of the work 1 which grips and transfers the work 1 to be finish-machined, a shake-out unit 3 to drop molding sand as the undesired substance from the work 1 transferred by the transfer device 2, and further, an excision unit 4 to cut down the undesired substance such as a down gate, a feeder head, flash and burr and the like from the work 1 transferred by the transfer device 2.
