Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a finisher of an image recorder that is able to make a punch hole in a proper position of a recording sheet by compensating an attitude of this recording sheet passing through a punch edge and the cross directional position.
CONSTITUTION: A finisher 1 of an image recorder equipped with a punching means 4 on the way to a sheet conveying route 32, and forming a binding hole in a recording sheet 3 discharged out of an image recorder 2 is provided with an attitude controlling means 5 making an attitude of the recording sheet 3 to be conveyed to the punching means 4 accord with a specified sense; a sheet side end detecting means 7 which detects a side end position of the recording sheet 3 subjected to this attitude control; and a side end aligning means 6 which makes a side end of the recording sheet 3 accord with the specified position on the basis of information out of this sheet side end detecting means 7.
