Abstract:
To enable a fire hydrant device to be handled from a road side and a watchman's passage side simply and easily.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant storage box 30 is installed buried in a watchman's passage 14 along a tunnel wall surface, and a hose with a foam nozzle is stored inside. A front door 32 is disposed at a front door opening 33 of a housing 31 on a road side so that the front door can be slidably opened/closed in a vertical direction. A first upper door 34 is journaled at a first upper surface door opening 35 of the housing 31 on a watchman's passage 14 side so as to be opened backward with a hinge 46 of a front edge corner part of the housing 31 as an axis, and a second upper door 36 is journaled at a second upper surface door opening 37 of the first upper door 34 so as to be opened forward with a hinge 42 as an axis. When an operation is performed from the road side, locking of the front door 32 is released by the forward opening of the second upper door 36, and the front door is opened by downward sliding so that the hose with a foam nozzle can be taken out. When an operation is performed from the watchman's passage side, the first upper door is opened backward so that the hose with a foam nozzle can be taken out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
