To provide a first treatment agent for regenerated cellulose fibers which has improved formulation stability, and the like.SOLUTION: The present invention is a first treatment agent for regenerated cellulose fibers which is used in combination with a second treatment agent for regenerated cellulose fibers containing a nonionic surfactant (B2) having an iodine value of 1 gI2/100 g or more. The first treatment agent for regenerated cellulose fibers contains the following sulfate ester salt (A) and a nonionic surfactant (B1) having an iodine value of less than 1 gI2/100 g. The sulfate ester salt (A) is a neutralized salt of a reaction product of an oil/fat (a) and sulfuric acid, and at least one selected from an amine, an alkali metal and an alkaline earth metal.SELECTED DRAWING: None
