PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic roofing material which has not much risk of deterioration even when it has been exposed in wind and rain while keeping a constitution facilitating the attaching and detaching works thereof onto a roof.
SOLUTION: When a metallic roofing material 1 is fitted to a sheathing face A, a down part 1a that the eaves side end is folded downward and a rising part 1b that the ridge side end is folded upward are formed in the metallic roofing material. A displaceable part 3 which is vertically elastic at the nearby position of the rear face of the metallic roofing material, in a fitting posture is provided in the rising part 1a. And fixing metal tools 5 by which the metallic roofing material can be placed and the rising part and the down part of the metallic roofing material can be fixed respectively, are fitted to the sheathing face A. A folding-back part is provided at the displaceable part 3 and the fixing part 5a that the folding-back part can be freely fixed by changing to the elastic displacement of the displaceable part 3 is provided in the fixing metal tools 5. And a sealing part elastically contacting the fixing part 5a in the state the folded-back part is fitted to the fixing part 5a is provided in the displaceable part 3.
