Abstract:
To provide an electrical connector capable of attaching a contact element in a housing in a simple way.SOLUTION: A fixation device for attaching a contact element 40 within a housing of a connector 200 includes a housing including a contact element receptacle 24 configured to receive a contact element. The fixation device also includes a clamping device configured to clamp the contact element in the contact element receptacle with a clamping force directed in a clamping direction K. The contact element is placed at least partially on a support surface 25 which includes a deflection surface 27 oriented at an angle to the clamping force on a side opposite to the clamping device. The deflection surface is configured to deflect the clamping force acting upon the contact element in a direction transverse to the clamping force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
