To provide a flasher for security which can be arbitrarily disposed in the vicinity of a safe, an entrance of a building or the like, effectively prevent a guilty deed by a would-be offender, and can be used for a security guard or the like to protect him/herself from an attack of a suspicious person.
The flasher for security comprises a reflection mirror 1 consisting of a mirror-finished aluminum plate, for example, and a high-intensity lamp 2 such as a xenon lamp, for example. The light of the high-intensity lamp 2 focuses in a predetermined direction by the reflection mirror 1, and flashes 5 to 10 times every second by an external trigger input. The flasher also comprises a light emitting diode 5 that blinks prior to the flashing of the high-intensity lamp.
