Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of a waterproof sheet, and to waterproof a flat roof surely by balancing air pressure on the inside and outside of the waterproof sheet or holding air pressure on the inside of the waterproof sheet so as to reach slight negative pressure and obviating the floating of the waterproof sheet when negative pressure is generated on the flat roof by a wind, etc., in the waterproof-sheet stretched flat roof.
CONSTITUTION: Pressure balancers 10 are arranged at a plurality of places of a flat roof 1, on which a waterproof sheet 3 is stretched. Each pressure balancer 10 has a cylindrical body 11 and a pressure adjusting piece 12 receiving by a seat 13 for a seal held in the cylindrical body 11 in a freely vertically movable manner and fitted inside the cylindrical body 11. The cylindrical bodies 11 of the pressure balancers 10 are installed onto the wall to be waterproofed 2 of the flat roof 1 so that voids between the wall 2 and the waterproof sheet 3 and the outside air are communicated through the cylindrical bodies 11. Internal air in the voids is passed in the cylindrical bodies 11 while lifting the pressure adjusting pieces 12 from lower sections and flowed out to the outside in a negative pressure section on the flat roof 1.
