A storage address 1 is set and the display coordinates X1 is detected out of the display coordinates X1 and Y1 stored in the address 1. The presence or absence is decided for the storage address having the display coordinates X1 and Ym excluding the address 1. If the corresponding address exists, only the area where the additional numbers stored in the address 1 is inverted and displayed for output and display of a table of contents. If no corresponding address exists, the entire area of the line where the additional numbers stored in the address 1 is displayed is inverted and displayed for output and display of the table of contents. In such a way, the initial display of the table of contents is outputted and given to a display device 10. Then the table of contents is outputted and displayed based on the data stored in the address 1, and the programs are selected in the ascending order of additional numbers.
