Abstract:
To provide a foldable bicycle which is foldable compact to the minimum of storing capacity and high in safety whereby a hand is not caught by a hinge part.
A handle post 4 is foldable to a front lower side A by a hinge 5 located near the upper end of a head pipe 6 holding a front fork 3, and the front frame 7 fixed to the head pipe is connected to the front end of a main frame 9 through a hinge 9 rotatably about an axis B positioned in longitudinal direction. Also the rear end of the main frame 9 is connected to a rear fork 10 through a hinge 11 rotatably about an axis C positioned in longitudinal direction, and the lower end of a saddle post outer 12 is connected to the main frame 9 through a hinge 13 rotatably in forward direction D.
