Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella which is easy to fold, and which can be miniaturized.
SOLUTION: This folding umbrella is equipped with a rib member comprising an end part rib member 2 which is rotatably attached to the leading ends E of an upper lathe 3 and a lower lathe 4, and a side part rib member 2a which is rotatably attached to the flat side parts S of the upper lathe 3 and the lower lathe 4, a spring member 6 which is attached to a parallelogram link structure of the rib member, and the rib member is folded by elasticity, and a side part thickness reducing means 7 which is attached to the bottom surface part of the upper lathe 3, and guides the rib member.
