PURPOSE: To improve the coloration of perishable foods by the metal ions produced from ceramic substances and obtain an excellent deodorizing and antibacterial effect by impregnating or coating the packaging sheet with the ceramic substances.

CONSTITUTION: The food packaging sheet A consists of a sheet 1 impregnated or coated with ceramic substances and, preferably, nonwoven fabric is used in the sheet 1 and copper sulfide is used in the ceramic substances. The copper sulfide having a concentration of 5-20% is used based on a collective judgement made on the effect which it produces on resistance to bacteria, deodorization, color development, curing and drip absorption. Also, the inner and/or outer surface of the sheet 1 may be laminated with a water-impermeable synthetic resin sheet or the sheet of the same or different material and the sheet 1 may be formed into a bag-like shape. Moreover, the sheet 1 is provided with a washable indication part 2 at each of its corners.
