Abstract:
To provide a stress detection tube 10 or the like which can perform objective mechanical evaluation to a manipulation level, can be applied for evaluation of training when a general catheter is inserted and for evaluation of a developed catheter, and can detect direct force from a position where a catheter actually contacts a vascular wall or the like.SOLUTION: A stress detection tube 10 comprises: a hollow tube 12 having a wall 12w with thickness T; and sensor seats 14a, 14b. The wall 12w of the hollow tube 12 is formed of an inner wall 12in, a back face 12bk, and an outer wall 12out. The sensor sheet 14a or the like is preferably installed on the back face 12bk. In this case, the sensor sheet 14a or the like is embedded in the wall 12w or the like, so that the sensor sheet is naturally fixed and is not deviated with respect to the hollow tube 12. A series of stress sensor 14a forming the sensor sheet 14a or the like and the hollow tube 12 are preferably formed of a transparent or translucent material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
