Abstract:
To provide optical glass having medium refractive index low dispersibility, excellent in fusion and capable of suppressing the temperature dependence of imaging when combined with the other glass.SOLUTION: The optical glass has a composition including, by mass%, 30-60% SiO2, 15% or less B2O3, 10% or less Li2O, 10% or less Na2O, 15% or less K2O, 7% or less Al2O3, 15% or less CaO, 12-40% BaO, 5% or less Nb2O5, 7% or less ZrO2, 5% or less TiO2, 5% or less Y2O3, 5% or less La2O3, without including ZnO and SrO. The tota content of Li2O, Na2O and K2O is 12-35%; the total content of CaO and BaO is 13-55%; and the temperature coefficient (40-60°C) of relative refractive index on a d-line is -5.0×10-6 to 3.0×10-6°C-1.SELECTED DRAWING: None
