Title:
FORMATION OF COATED FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62193679
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve adhesiveness of coated film by coating a thermosetting finishing paint which consists essentially of a hydroxyl group-contg. resin and amino acid and is further compounded with a polyisocyanate compd. onto a coating surface coated with a cation electrodeposition paint on a conductive metal.

CONSTITUTION: The cation electrodeposition paint is coated on the conductive metal such as iron and the thermosetting finishing paint which consists essentially of the hydroxyl group-contg. resin (e.g., hydroxyl group-contg. acrylic resin) and amino resin (e.g., butylated melamine resin) and is further compounded with the polyisocyanate compd. (e.g., reaction product of hexamethylene diisocyanate and water) is coated on the coating surface thereof. The hydroxyl group-contg. resin and amino resin are preferably within the range of 65W85% hydroxyl group-contg. resin and 35W15% amino resin based on the weight ratio of the total solid contents of both resins. The polyisocyanate compd. is preferably incorporated at 7W50pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. total content of the above-mentioned two resins. As a result, the adhesiveness of the two coated films is improved.
