Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a formula processor for speedily calculating a group of formulas.
CONSTITUTION: The formula processor 3 receives the formulas from a host computer 5, calculates them, returns the calculated result to the host computer and they are stored in a main memory 7. The formula processor 3 stores the calculated result of the formulas in a cache memory 23. The calculated results in the cache memory 3 are used for subsequent calculation. An entity in the cache is substituted for a new result with the reference of LRS and LRU. The formula is topology-sorted before calculation. Information whether it belongs to the calculated result of the other formula or not is transmitted to the formula processor with the formula.
