Abstract:

To provide a fuel injection control device of an internal combustion engine, capable of precisely executing fuel injection control.

A device stores an initial adjusting item compensating the fluctuation of operation characteristics caused by an individual difference of injection fuel valves and studies a study correcting item compensating the fluctuation of operation characteristics caused by the temporal change of the fuel injection valve base on the detected values of a pressure sensor when openingly driving the injection fuel valve. Further, the device calculates a target injection period TAU based on the initial adjusting item, the study correcting item, and an engine operation state (S104). The device calculates a basic injection period TAUB based on the initial adjusting item and the engine operation state (S102). The device executes a guard processing regulating the target injection period TAU based on the relation of the target injection period TAU and the basic injection period TAUB (S105, S106). The device executes the calculation of the target injection period TAU after executing the calculation of the basic injection period TAUB.
