Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly switch a low pressure fuel control state in starting to a high pressure fuel control state in general operation without a response delay.
SOLUTION: An integrated rotating speed from ON of a starter switch of a non-leak type high pressure fuel pump driven by an engine is calculated (S22). Until the integrated rotating speed exceeds a switching set rotating speed (S23), a bypass passage for bypassing a high pressure fuel regulating means is opened to regulate the pressure of the fuel supplied to a fuel injection valve by a low pressure fuel regulating means (S24). On the other hand, when the integrated rotating speed exceeds the switching set rotating speed (S23), the bypass passage is closed to regulate the pressure of the fuel supplied to the fuel injection valve by the high pressure fuel regulating means.
