Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fuel injection nozzle which can prevent generation of secondary injection caused by water hammer wave at the time of completion of injection, also prevent generation of secondary injection caused by rebound at the time of seating of a needle, and can be inexpensively manufactured.
CONSTITUTION: In a fuel injection nozzle, a needle 2 is lifted and an injection port 11 is opened when pressure of the fuel supplied from an oil reservoir 14 reaches a valve-opening value or higher. The needle 2 is composed of a guide part 22 slid against a nozzle body 1, and a seat part 21 divided inside the oil reservoir 14. The seat part 21 can be move4 axially in respect to the guide part 22. Means 21b, 21c, 22c, 22d are formed for regulating an allowable range of a distance between the seat part 21 and the guide part 22.
