CONSTITUTION: Image data fetched by one time of scanning by a CCD sensor 17 is inputted to an image processing part and the image data of yellow and magenta are produced. The yellow image data is sent to a laser driver unit 18 and outputted as a laser light beam. By it, the surface of the photosensitive drum 21 is exposed and a yellow electrostatic latent image is formed. On the other hand, the magenta image data is stored in an image memory. Yellow toner is supplied to the yellow electrostatic latent image and a toner image is formed and transferred on a transfer belt 27. Thereafter, when the returning action is started by a scanner including a lamp unit 12 and a mirror 13, the magenta image data is read from the image memory and sent to the unit 18. Besides, it is outputted as the laser light beam. By it, the surface of the drum 21 is exposed and a magenta electrostatic latent image is formed. Similarly, the toner image is formed and transferred on the belt 27.
