A water storage container 2a and a medicine container 3 are housed in the main body of gargling system provided with a recessed top plate at its upper part. A water conduit 22 is connected from the outside to the water storage container 2a. A water supply pipe 23 for discharging stored water into the top plate is connected to the water storage container 2a. A medicine supply pipe 24 for discharging the medicine in the medicine container 3 into the top plate while being branched is connected to the water conduit 22. Then, switching means 30, 31 and 38 are provided for feeding water, which is fed by the water conduit 22, into either the water storage container 2a or the medicine supply pipe 24.
