Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a gas blowing nozzle with superior economical efficiency and usage stability for a vessel contg. molten metal by arranging plural metallic pipes as gas passing holes in the body of a nozzle made of a refractory composition and by forming them to one body.
CONSTITUTION: Plural metallic pipes 2 as gas passing holes are buried in the body 1 of a nozzle made of a refractory composition, and they are formed integrally. A metallic structure 3 provided with a gas introducing pipe 4 is joined to the pipes 2 so as to feed gases uniformly. A gas blowing nozzle with superior resistance to thermal spalling, erosion and wear is obtd.
