PURPOSE: To facilitate engagement at many joints by inserting a module having a stator spline means and an actuator means into a ginbal assembly after arranging the module by means of an actuator.

CONSTITUTION: A stator/connector assembly 10 comprising a stator spline 132 arranged on the outer surface of a stator 28 applies a force to splines 134, 136 and a compressive load from a spring 138. An engaging means comprises an actuator 72 and an assembler 74 and acts on the upper element of a connector to be fitted with a lower component. The actuator 72 performs positioning and attitude control of a module 16 and adjusting of the module 16 in ginbals 12, 14 using a handle 16. When the module 16 is inserted subsequently into the assembly 10, many joints can be engaged easily. The stator 28 and the rotor 30 are arranged coaxially.
