Abstract:
To improve airtightness by eliminating a fault such as seizure or the like by controlling a press-fitting load in the case of fixing a heater 4 to a housing 2 by press fitting, to prevent damage of the sheathed heater 4 or a ceramic heater 50 at the time of press fitting and to enable the heater 4 or the heater 50 of a small diameter to be press-fitted which has heretofore been impossible.
An annular recess 2e is formed on a part disposed at the outside of a heater press fitting part 22a formed in the inner hole 22 of the outer peripheral surface of the housing (mounting fitting of a cylinder head) 2.
