Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage facility capable of preventing storage efficiency of its storage rack from decreasing while using pallets exhibiting a downward bending amount not exceeding the tolerance limit and pallets exhibiting a downward bending amount exceeding the tolerance limit as the pallets when they are stored in a storage section with articles stacked thereon up to the upper weight limit.SOLUTION: The article storage facility includes a plurality of storage sections S comprised of a plurality of standard storage sections SH for storing pallets P exhibiting a downward bending amount not exceeding the tolerance limit and of a plurality of supplemental storage sections SS for storing pallets P exhibiting a downward bending amount exceeding the tolerance limit, and a controller which is constructed to cause a standard storage section SH to store a pallet P if storing of a pallet P exhibiting a downward bending amount not exceeding the tolerance limit is instructed, or to cause a supplemental storage section SS to store a pallet P if a pallet P exhibiting a downward bending amount exceeding the upper tolerance limit is commanded to be stored.
