Title:
GROMMET MADE OF RUBBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09173507
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To remarkably relax an initial impact and exhibit a performance endowed with improved resiliency owing to replacing a usual grommet (a hole for inserting a string) by a grommet made of a rubber leading to lengthening of the contact part between a gut and a frame.

By using a grommet 1 made of a rubber, one can enjoy various type of shots by binding a grommet made of a soft or hard material as desired appropriate to a racket. Thus by using grommets 1 of a rubber, soft hitting feeling and increasing moment and reducing unpleasant oscillation on the impact can be attained, leading to lighten the load to the strings on the impact therefore break of strings can be remarkably prevented. When softly hitting is done exhibiting high resiliency, mild hitting feeling and tough shot is attained while on hardly hitting, mighty shot with high repulsion can be possible.
