Abstract:
To provide a hair cosmetic which imparts conditioning effects such as sufficient moistness, smoothness, and flexibility to the hair and further improves the durability of the effects.
The hair cosmetic contains an organopolysiloxane compound in which an amide bond-containing group represented by formula (1):-X-NH-(-Y-NH-)a-G [wherein X and Y are each a 1-10C divalent hydrocarbon group; a is a number of 0-10; and G is a group represented by formula (2):-CO-(CH2)b-(-CHR1-)c-OH (wherein b and c are each a number of not less than 1 and b+c is 2-7 and R1 is a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group)] is bonded to at least one silicon atom of the organopolysiloxane segment constituting the main chain.
