Title:
HAIR DYEING TONGS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3467516
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply hair dyeing solution onto hairs in an easy and swift manner uniformly from the roots of hairs up to those tips, keeping the head skin off the hair dye solution.
SOLUTION: In these hair dyeing tongs 1, the two facing application surfaces of a pair of head parts 2 are provided with upper comb teeth 16 alternately arranged on both surfaces to subdivide hairs between them, and two facing sponges 18 to apply a hair dye solution onto the hairs that have been subdivided through the upper comb teeth 16. In addition, it is provided with lower comb teeth 17, also alternately arranged on them, not only to rearrange the hairs but also to scrape off the excess solution that has been applied on the hairs while spreading it. Thus, using these tongs in a way that the hair dye solution is applied with the sponges 18 to the roots of the hairs that have been neatly arranged by the upper comb teeth 16 and then scraped off with the lower comb teeth 17, while being smoothed toward their tips, prevents the attachment of the solution to the head skin that may cause color spots, and enables the quick and uniform application from the roots of hairs to their tips with ease.
