Abstract:

To provide a hand drill which can suppress occurrence of delamination when drilling an object, and being miniaturized.

The hand drill 1 includes a base member 2, a damper 3, a drill body 4, and a drill bit 5. The base member 2 contains an abutment surface 6A to which an object is abutted, and includes a drill bush 8. The damper 3 includes a piston rod 31 and a cylinder 32, being shrinkable along the axial direction thereof. The tip part of the piston rod 31 is secured to the base member 2. The drill body 4 is secured to the cylinder 32, and is displaced along with the cylinder 32. The drill bit 5 is attached to the drill body 4 almost parallel to the axial direction of the damper 3. The tip of the drill bit 5 is positioned at the tip of the drill bush 8 under such condition as the damper 3 is extended.
